A PICTURESQUE BED AND BREAKFAST IN DUNVEGAN ON THE ISLE OF SKYE.
Minnie’s Rooms is named after Mary Budge MacGregor (also known as Minnie) - grandmother of current owner Mayanne MacGregor. Mary was born in 1910 and brought up in Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye. Her parents were given £100 by the Chief of the Castle to run the Dunvegan Hotel. They ran the Hotel for many years and this is where Minnie and her brothers were raised. Minnie went to Atholl Crescent Domestic Science School in Edinburgh and later married Duncan MacGregor and they both ran the Atholl House Hotel in Dunvegan.
Marys granddaughter Mayanne now runs Minnie's Rooms - a stunning bed and breakfast in the heart of Dunvegan.
It is a cosy house where you will be made to feel welcome and I hope you can enjoy a relaxing stay. I will be around to help if you need anything, but I am happy to leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace.
Breakfast is also served in the Lounge where you will have a stunning view of Loch Dunvegan and the Macleods Tables while you eat. Wifi is free and available in every room.
Check in is between 4pm and 9pm. Daily Housekeeping is included. There is ample parking and a good sized garden with a gate that leads directly on to the shore.
