Minnie’s Room is an ugly 1960’s  house with a shabby exterior. It is a work in progress and eventually I’m hoping to make improvements. At the moment I am concentrating on the inside. It is a cosy house where you will be made to feel welcome and I hope you can enjoy a relaxing stay. I will be around to help if you need anything, but I am happy to leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace.

You will have access to the lounge where there is a cosy wood burning stove, TV and a huge range of books old and new in the bookcase in the hall. There are a few games for you to use and some magazines. Breakfast is also served in the Lounge where you will have a stunning view of Loch Dunvegan and the Macleods Tables while you eat. Wifi is free and available in every room.

There is no kitchen access at the moment but hoping to open a small kitchenette by August 2017. Watch this space. Check in is between 10 and 4pm. Daily Housekeeping is included.

There is ample parking and a good sized garden with a gate that leads directly on to the shore (Wellies needed)

You might see grey herons, oyster catchers, curlews, gannets, ducks, cormorants, nosy seals and on the odd occasion we see an otter and even dolphins.

Summer days on Skye are very long and light and in fine weather you can sit in the garden with a glass of wine and watch the beautiful sunsets and listen to the seabirds. Bliss.

In the hall there are maps and guide books available to borrow, lots of ideas for walks and a map on the wall to help plan your days.
